FC3 support for MS wireless desktop optical keyboard & mouse

Hello,

  I'm running Fedore Core 3 on a Dell Inspiron 1150. Is there
anything that I need to do to enable the wireless keyboard and mouse to
work?

  WHat's happening now is when I plug in the USB connector to my
laptop, and I restart it, the bootup process is stopped when it reaches
the stop "Initializing hardware ... storage network audio"

  Do I need to disable the keyboard and mouse for the laptop before I
can use the wireless ones?

  It is the wireless optical desktop comfort edition.
