This has nothing to do with Linux specifically, so I apologize. I'm
planning on upgrading my system. Here's my thing, on the case, in the
back is that area where the different parts of the motherboard stick
out, i.e. parallel port, PS/2 ports, serial ports, USB, etc...Is that
plate-like thing replaceable. I ask because I have not yet found a
motherboard that matches up to a case. All the motherboards I've seen
on the Internet are like this: (from left to right), PS/2, Parallel &
Serial Port, USB/intergrated LAN, USB (sometimes), audio jacks; and all
the cases are (top to bottom) PS/2, USB/integrated LAN, Parallel &
Serial Port, audio jacks. Am I missing something here? Thanks for your
help.
