Does RH9 support AMD-64? Try the newer versions of Fedora or AS. If you
have Red Hat Advanced Server, doesn't that mean you are paying them for
support? Do you see anything in "dmesg" when you boot with the sata
drive connected? Are you sure sata is enabled in the BIOS?
