Hi,

On my XP machine, I have a icon in the bottom of the screen (green
arrow) which allows to "Safely Remove Hardware". This is a nice
feature, and gives confidence on the removal of USB keys (for
example).

Is there any feature like this unde linux? (Fedora Core 3)
How can I be sure that it is safe to remove the USB key, out of its
plug?

Thanks
frank
