    Hello,

I just bought an Asus K8S-MX with an Athlon64 CPU to build a small home
server. I installed Suse 9.2 x86_64 with no problem (on an PATA disk)
but unluckly the onboard LAN card (based on SIS 191/190 MAC + Realtek
    RTL82011CL 10/100 chipset) - although recognized - is not working. I
googled around but I was not able to find any solution to make it
work... it seems that both the onboard LAN and the onboard SATA
controller are still not entirely supported.
I posted in Suse/novell support groups with no luck...

For this reason I decided to buy a PCI gigabit adapter: do you have any
suggestion on one that works fine with x86_64?

    On line I found a D-link DGE-530T, a Netgear GA311IS, a Hamlet HNNG64TX
in a price range of 25-30 euro. Are they any good?

    Thanks a lot & regards,
    Blackdir
