Greetings!
I was kind of planning on installing FC4 for my next version of
Linux. Seeing articles that it is trouble for some and fine for others,
let me inform you of what I have, and if anyone has any definite "no" (or
yes!), between my hardware and FC4, I would appreciate anything you can
offer.
I have a Tyan S1854 Trinity 400 motherboard, Intel P-II 450 MHz chip.
So far as bus cards (my Cyclades 16-serial-port, sound card, etc.),
there are drivers that work just fine for everything in the 2.4.17 kernel
I've been running for quite a while now, so -- so far as I understand -- I
should expect that those drivers still exist.
If you do need to know anything more about the hardware in my system
before you can reply, please ask me, and I'll do my best to provide
whatever information is missing.
Thank you!
Barry
