Hi all!

I am using Ubuntu 5.04, and I just bought a USB 2 memory card reader. When
the card reader is connected to the USB port, the usb-storage module is
loaded and the device files /dev/sda-b-c-d are created. To mount the
filesystem on a memory card I need the "/dev/sda1", "/dev/sdb1" etc.
device files, but they aren't created when I insert a memory card in the
card reader. Nothing changes if I insert the memory card in the reader
before conncting it to the USB port.

How can I bring up the sda1, sdb1 etc. device files?

Thanks in advance!

Marco
