I have an HP Deskjet, now connected via USB. When I plug it in, I see the
following in my log files:
drivers/usb/class/usblp.c: Disabling reads from problem bidirectional printer on usblp0
Any suggestions on what might be going on here?
The printer seems to work. There are a few postings on the web with the
same text, but they seem to either be incidental (some other problem being
discussed) or unresolved.
The printer is on a short (3 ft) cable, with no hub.
