ASUS P5WD2 Premium & Pentium D

I looked and saw some support for this motherboard in linux on the web. I
would probably use Redhat FC4 or greater since I'm familiar with Redhat.
One site mentioned that audio didn't work. Would this combo work well in
Linux now or will support be forth coming?
