Hello, all.
I recently got hold of a second-hand Toshiba Satellite Pro 4310, when
my employer sold off old computers to staff.
This computer has a 3Com EtherLink III card in it.
Windows 98 was left on the hard drive, so I cansee that the card is
recognized, and a small LED lights up on a sort of "adapter box" (RJ45
and co-axial to some sort of sub-miniature connecter) that I have plugged
into it.
When I boot Linux, the LED stays dark, as if something needs to be done to
activate either just this card, or the whole PCMCIA system.
Google didn't turn up anything similar to my problem.
Any ideas?
Keith.
