Hi,
I'd like to access an IDE DVD Writer (Philips 1640) connected to the USB
port via GL811 Chipset based converter cable.
The converter is recognized by linux (Slackware, 2.4.22 Kernel), usb-storage
gets loaded.
But I cannot access any device ?!
No /dev/sda /dev/sda1 or whatever is accessible, which is the right device
according to my google-searched.
/dev/sg0 sg1, are already occupied by real SCSI-CD drives.
Any suggestions ?
//Tomas
