The system logs for some (but not all) of the systems I use have been
filled with messages like this for months:

Sep 27 17:05:37 .. kernel: hub 1-0:1.0: port 2 disabled by hub (EMI?),
                                                            re-enabling...
Sep 27 17:05:37 .. hal.hotplug[5819]: DEVPATH is not set (subsystem input)
Sep 27 17:05:37 .. hal.hotplug[5829]: DEVPATH is not set (subsystem input)
Sep 27 17:05:38 .. hal.hotplug[5890]: DEVPATH is not set (subsystem input)
Sep 27 17:05:38 .. hal.hotplug[5909]: DEVPATH is not set (subsystem input)

What do they mean? How do I stop them?

    Running 2.6.12, Fedora Core 4.
