    This is typically a BIOS setting. Go into your BIOS Setup, look around
    for an "init display first" option. Set that to "PCI" so the system
    will look for PCI cards instead of the onboard card. If this option or
    one like it doesn't exist, you may have to forget this motherboard and
    buy one that doesn't suck. Or use the s3 or VESA X server with the S3
    card.

    This is probably why X won't start; there's no BusID line in the Device
    section for your Trio64 card or you only have a Device section for the
    nVidia card. I'd need to see the whole xorg.conf file to tell exactly
    what's wrong.
