Single use camera (PV2 from CVS, Ritz, Walgreen, etc.)

Hi.

I picked up one of these "single use" digital cameras yesterday, to try to
get it working in Linux as an inexpensive camera for schoolchildren to use.

To be "inexpensive", it has to be re-used. ;-)

I've been reading stuff on
http://myweb.nmu.edu/~tstrothe/PV2mods/PV2mods.htm2018400039 but much of
it seems to refer to Windows software.

Some snippets of information hint that GPhoto2 (when patched) might be
able to download images from the camera.

Anybody had any success with this?
