I just bought an HP PSC 1510 printer, and configured it with
foomatic-gui, but I can't get my computer to talk to it. If I do
lpq, I get a message that the printer "is not ready". I don't
understand this. All the necessary cables are firmly connected,
and the printer prints out a test *** without difficulty. How
can I troubleshoot this problem?
My distro is Debian.
Thanks!
bill
