But I really dont know how you could disable the trading of private data? "they" have my name, adress, financial connection (account) when I trade. Additionally they know about stuff I traded with and know about friends and partners. I cant switch off that. What was the name of the planned data collection ministry in the US governement? Ebay and other international companies are ideal for collecting data from many countries in one place :-)
I dont care about data alone, but when something is "safe" in the databases of parts of a governement, it gets connected with other data (email, telephone etc.) and gives a quite clear picture about you and your friends, hobbies and size of trousers. do you have friends with "arabic" sounding name? do you want to fly without being checked thoroughly? Than better use local flea markets if they exist any more in times of ebay.
