Nope. The dvd+rw-tools package does DVD+R and DVD+RW media. Message-ID
1B4%d.5701376$f47.1038778@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx is at least one report of
someone using k3b and growisofs to burn a dual-layer DVD+R. They may
have used the -overburn option. I'd try various things and report back,
but my DVD+RW is an older unit and only writes single-layer. There may
be a bug with growisofs, or (less likely) there may be a kernel problem.
You can get a fairly good handle on what growisofs is doing if you
strace that command given above and redirect stderr to strace.log. Like
so: "strace growisofs [options...] 2> strace.log". Then examine
strace.log in your favorite text editor and find out exactly which
write() or ioctl() is making growisofs unhappy. HTH,
