Hi,

I've looked and I've looked - I can't find anywhere in the UK that sells PCI adsl modems THAT ARE COMPATIBLE WITH LINUX.

Help?

My SmothWall (linux appliance) just recognized the old green frog, then later a Bewam pci adsl modem. There were heaps of these on eBay about a year ago for ~$15. The only other place I noticed them was, I think, at one of the smoothwall sites, but they were ~$100.

If you do get one, you will be almost alone when looking for installation support. With adsl ethernet switches priced from ~$45, and wireless units not much more, I'd follow the other suggestions in this thread.
