My SmothWall (linux appliance) just recognized the old green frog, then later a Bewam pci adsl modem. There were heaps of these on eBay about a year ago for ~$15. The only other place I noticed them was, I think, at one of the smoothwall sites, but they were ~$100.Hi,
I've looked and I've looked - I can't find anywhere in the UK that sells PCI adsl modems THAT ARE COMPATIBLE WITH LINUX.
Help?
If you do get one, you will be almost alone when looking for installation support. With adsl ethernet switches priced from ~$45, and wireless units not much more, I'd follow the other suggestions in this thread.
