Asus-specific, since the topic should be of some interest to Linux uses.
Asus boards are a poor choice for Linux because of the company's policy to
provide broken BIOS (ACPI/DSDT part, in particular). The A8N boards, in
particular, have been documented to have this bug. MSI is a much better
choice for motherboards at this time.
