Which Linux distribution runs on this system? and where can i get it?

The amount of RAM is probably a critical factor. I'm running Fedora Core 3
on a Pentium II with 256M (firewall machine) just fine. Look at
www.fedoralegacy.org.

Just to add my .02 worth, this machine is a 200 Pentium Pro (a little
quicker than an MMX) running what started out as RedHat, but has been
progressively updated. Things like Opera etc run just fine providing
you use a lightweight window manager, I use AfterStep. Avoid KDE and
Gnome. Plenty of memory is the key, you need to avoid swapping.
