I don't disagree; especially if it will also give a speed boost. This was
my first RAID configuration (ever) so I guess I made a few mistakes.
I'll see if I can round up an IDE controller card.
BTW, is there an easy way to move the hard drives onto a controller card,
meaning, do I have to do anything with mdadm or such tools to migrate the
drives? Hope I don't have to reformat the raid or anything silly like that..
