Linksys WPC11 and VectorLINUX

I have a problem with this PCMCIA WLAN card on VectorLINUX 5.1.1 SOHO
Linxsys WPC11 ver. 3

It worked perfectly on Slackware 10.x. It was immedialtey
recognized as "Linksys WPC11 11Mbps 802.11b", and the
module "orinoco_cs" was loaded, and a new network interface
was created (eth1 if I'm not mistaken).

On VectorLINUX (derivative of Slackware) the first thing
I noticed was, the card was recognized only after a second
insertion. Then it reports "Bromax OEM 11Mbps 802.11b WLAN
Card (Prism 3)" and loads prism2_cs. No interface created
:(

I tried stopping cardmgr and manuall do "cardctl insert N"
and then loading orinoco_cs. Still no new interface, ie.
iwconfig finds nothing.

Any clue?
