Which linux distro is optimised for Dual Core processors ?

Hi,
There are a plethora of Linux distros out there. I want one which
is optimised for dual core. I am going to get a system which is going
to run on Pentium T2300, 1.66 Ghz Dual core having 1GB RAM.
Specifically I would like to know distros which can make optimal use of
both the cores.
