good scan FC4

Bonjour,

I would like to buy a good scanner working under fedora 4. I want to
scan books, pages, papers... I do not need a sphisticated scanner to
scan photos. My aim is to have a good printing of book that I cannot put
in my suitcase when I am travelling by plane... just a good library in
my computer!

I printed the whole Sane database but, when I go to shops selling
scanners, here in Paris, I cannot find any model completly working under
linux FC4.

Any suggestions?

Thank you.
