The fact that it is using 60Hz instead of 75Hz is probably because of what
I wrote in xorg.conf when trying to get DVI working.
The analog input was initially occupied as I transfered data from an old
computert that this new computer is supposed to replace. Once this old
computer has been replaced I can use the analog input. I started
downloading a newer X.org, but I think that the image is very sharp and
with good quality even on the analog input so I feel no need for DVI
anymore. I consider the problem solved with the analog port solution.
You can only use one input port to the monitor at a time. I
would *highly* suggest that you give up the fool idea of using
the analog input when you in fact do have a fully digital video
card.
