Yes, when two different computers are connected to different input ports I
use a button on the monitor to select which input port to display. I tried
to connect the same computer by both analog and digital to the port, but
then only the analog signal was sent. (I connected the digital port after
X was started).

I would *highly* suggest that you give up the fool idea of using
the analog input when you in fact do have a fully digital video
card.

I really can't complain on the image quality of the analog signal. I
thought that there would be more problems syncing the signal, but it
really looks great. From what I can see I have nothing to win on going to
DVI, but with DVI I will probably have to upgrade the X server or install
a binary driver to get the resolution that I want.
