Compile it for non-x86 machines perhaps.

I save my indignation for companies that do not make Linux drivers
available at all while falling all over the Windows market. Then
there are the boxes with the big friendly penguins and promises of
Linux support that means a URL for a site where you might find an
open source driver hidden in the manual between the 50 pages of
Windows documentation and the index.

Of course, those 50 pages are mostly screenshots of the installer
wizard...
