Have you tried qemu? http://www.qemu.org
If you have applications that need to run in Windows you might prefer to
run Windows in a free PC-emulator instead of having to reboot just to
switch applications. Another way to run Windows applications is to use
wine, http://www.winehq.org/
With wine you don't even need Windows to run Windows applications.
