outdoor webcam

Anyone know of a webcam that is suitable for outdoor use? I need a camera to take pictures through a window into a brightly lit area.

I am looking for a simple USB webcam. The ones I've tried wash out very badly in bright daylight. I've tried shooting through dark filters, but still, the cameras lose a lot of detail in bright light.

They are very, very good indoors and in dark rooms, but I need one for sunlight use.

Size and price are of course a concern; I am looking for a small, inexpensive webcam (the one I'm testing with now is golf-ball sized.)
