cant install SUSE 9.3, 10.0, 10.1 on raid0

HI,
i've been trying to install suse 9.3 pro, 10.0 pro and 10.1 open on
raided WD 320 GB sata I drives with no success so far. its a software
raid, unfortunatelly intel raid set-up in BIOS is not recognized by
yast. the drives are set to standard ide in the bios. i have tried
different settings too. the problem occurs while formatting raided
partition md0 as reiserfs... error 1007. the sata controler is ich7r
and motherboard is p5wd2-e. i have tried to introduce recent drivers
from intel's website with no result.
another issue is when i boot up with dvd 64bit version of 10.0. my dvd
is plextor 755sa SATA. yast cant find source of the packets to install
:0. also if i dont start instalation in safe mode, info file cant be
found so i guess its a problerm with sata drive
if you have experience with this, please enlighten me :)
