Please note that I can't reproduce the problem in Gnome, but I do see
corrupted texts. I think KDE can't handle it or something.
The important thing is that you have a way to reproduce the error. If
changing the card helps and the error goes away you know that you have
fixed the error. Other things that might fix the error is to change
driver, change motherboard, change RAM or change CPU.
Doubt it is memory. Wouldn't I have problems in other places.
Yes, bad memory would probably also give segfaults in other applications.
