Problems trying to get Flash Card's serial number, reading with a USB Storage reader.

Hello.
I know that using flash card's via IDE, it can be read by hdparm -I.
(or, ioctl with HDIO_GET_IDENTITY).
But, when using it with a USB Storage reader, its mounted like a scsi.
I trying sdparm, but it's not working.
Any idea?
