Witch printers running without problems under Linux?

The best thing to have, arguably, is a PostScript printer. Unfortunately,
there are not many true PostScript printers - most of them run an
emulation layer over their true language which tends to make them quite
slow, and generally they are more expensive. Generally, if a printer does
a form of PCL - it will work with Linux. A good thing to look for on the
box is MAC support in addition to MS - that is a tipoff since most of them
are afraid to admit they work with Linux.
Good candidates are HP and Epson printers. You've not mentioned what kind
of printer you're looking for - both Brother and Samsung have some good
inexpensive laser printers which work with Linux.
