Bad idea, usually. When it comes to hardware, you get what you pay for.
Also, you have not defined what you want from this printer. Do you need
color? If not, grab a B/W laser printer. If so, figure out how much
the printer will be used, and go color inkjet/color laser, depending.

Get the makes and model#s of the printers you're interested in, then go
