Yes. Be prepared to purchase a new motherboard.
Assuming that your MB is ATX-like, with the power controls onboard the
MB, it could be that the MB power controls are failing. I've seen it
happen before, where a system would spontaneously power off (or power
on), and the end result was a fried MB.
I /hope/ that you aren't having a MB problem, but with spontaneous
reboots and flaky temperature sensors, it sounds like /something/ on
the MB is giving out.
