ens1371 Master channel not working - sound is

I just updated my old pc with a new motherboard. For the purpose I
added a creative pci128 sound card. All is working fine on suse 10.0
exept one thing: the master channel is useless, but my sound is working
good. I'm quite confused I got no idea of what the trouble might be. I
found no article where someone had a similar bug. Anyone has a clue?

Plz keep in mind the I'm pretty much a linux noob
Thanks!
