3ware is the best supported -- the 9550 (PCI-X) and 9590 (PCIe) are both
SATAII and really nice boards.

Unfortunately, I am stuck with PCI 2.2, no PCI-anything.
Is there a PCI 2.2 spec card you could recommend that
is 3ware?
