You can try Mandrivalinux LE 2006 or Mandrivalinux 2007 Free. For Canon
i560 printer you can use Canon s500 diver.
SuSe Linux 10.1 is not bad
Ubuntu 6.06.

I'd like to use Linux since Windows 98 seems to be working very slowly
on my elderly PC. I blame a lot of that on the need to run separate

Have you any suggestions which Linux to use?
I need to run a Canon i560 printer as a network printer - this PC will
be used as a printer server and possibly a file server too. It's other
use will be for web browsing, newsgroup reading/posting and mudding.
