gphoto2 --auto-detect --get-all-files
Or just get a card reader and save your camera batteries. I'm
not too fond of my powershot either. One day, I was using the
zoom feature and it just stopped allowing me to zoom. And
you can't use the menu, and other things on the camera now.
Although it still takes pictures, but you can't zoom or do
anything, including the flash/bios upgrade because that part
of the camera no longer functions. Something with leaving it
in the car overnight where it got cold, then taking it into
the hot and humid house to take a picture that caused this
headache, but still, I would hope for better design or
construction.
And then there's my Canon MPC 5000 printer that doesn't even
have XP drivers. Or linux support worth a darn. But it still
does copies and faxes without being connected to the computer.
It would be nice to print without having to boot an old WinME
machine though.
