Hi,

After reading some reviews of Digital SLR cameras in the 500$ range I
am begining to like Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50. I use linux exclusively.
So I would like to know if this camera is compatible with linux. Also
would appreciate what to look for to ensure linux compatibility. Is
Picture Transfer Mode enough.

Best transfer method is a USB card reader - in which case the camera is
totally irrelevant.
