BIOS Bug: MCFG area is not E820-reserved

Bonjour,
The subject is the first message, the immediately following one is:
PCI: Not using MMCONFIG
I run fedora core 4 on an Asus P5WD2 Premium mobo.
I updated the BIOS a while ago and came back to the previous one but the message is still there....
Does anybody know:
1- What is the problem and is it possible to solve it?
2- What is missing if the OS does not use MMCONFIG?
