Hello,
I have Sony Ericsson k800i and USB Bluetooth plugged into my PC.
I use Slackware Linux, current, kernel 2.6.19.2 - bluetooth enabled as
modules.
I'm trying to estabilish connection between mobile phone and PC to
control remotely my mplayer and/or xmms.
I've compiled installed bluez packages.
I set up hci0 interface by hciconfig hci0 up. Then 'hciconfig -a'
shows:

When I try to let my phone control my mouse, I try:
hidd --connect 00:18:13:9E:61:CB
After short while I get message on phone with question if I want to
allow my PC to be controlled by phone. I Agree, then I'm asked for
PIN, I enter '0000' - that's what I've set temporary - for testing.
Then nothing happens. hidd waits a while, then exists. Phone tells that
bluetooth couldn't estabilish a connection. That's all.
What might be the problem? What more informations shell I provide to
help you helping me? :)
Thanks!
