Hello

if for instance I have an ext2 file server

how Windows machines connected to this server can see

ext2 disks/partitions?

If you're accessing the file systems via network,
the ext2 (or whatever) file system does not matter.

The standard way to deal with Windowses is to teach
your Linux to speak Windowsese with the Samba package.
Just set Samba up in the Linux machine and tell it
which directories, printers & co to share.
