Hi there,
I've got some money and want to buy a cheap and small laser printer
for me. You may give me hints which printer to buy. I have to say that
I am not an expert in printing issues and therefor I um unsure about
the right printer.

That should be fine. Both Samsung and Brother have good linux support.
Worst case, you can always print PS docs from within GS - but that should
not be necessary. I have a PCL Brother HL1440 and I can easily print PS
directly to the printer.
I have both the ml-2010 and hl-1440. They are both good printers. It seems
that brother's toner cartridge lasts longer and is cheaper to replace.
People say the drums need replacing fast but I haven't experienced this.
The Samsung printer is a little smaller so its a better choice for my small
apartment.
