unable to connect to linux host via samba

Hello

It's somehow always a big problem to connect
from XP to Linux wia samba.

/ From linux to XP no problem at all./

On Xp samba server is visible but
XP says : no rights to use .... etc That's it.
Xp does not even ask for password

On the linux side I do:

1) I add user
2) I set user password
3) I restart samba

Is not it enough to get conncted to Linux from XP?

What I do wrong?

Thanks a Lot!!!

Serge
