I'm housing this stuff in a really cheap case, and cooling is a problem.
Anyone have any recommendations for an inexpensive, quiet, well-ventilated
case and power supply?
Size and appearance is not much of a consideration, but quiet would be
nice.
Yes. Look at Rosewill cases: http://www.rosewill.com/
I chose the R604TBLK-N for $60 from Newegg.com for my new 64-bit system.
Came with a 450W power supply with 2 fans (You can get it without the PS),
and the case itself included a 120mm fan with room for 1 more. And it's
all VERY quiet. (My old box wailed like a Banshee.) After installing the
MB and stuff, when I first turned it on, it was so quiet, I thought it
wasn't powering up. Sitting right next to it, all that comes out of it is
light whir or purr.
