notebook has a duo core processor Intel, built in Lan card and built in
Wifi card. When I can get in both work fine. However on boot system
hangs either after the Alsa is loaded or Cups is loaded. I then have to
reboot go into bios, disable the Lan, and turn off the wifi on the
notebook., it then SOMETIMES boots with lan errors but I get in. Then I
can turn the wifi on to connect, or do a fast reboot, stopping in the bios
and turning the Lan back on. It works, after I stay on for awhile if I
shut down same problem again. Sometimes I have to do this several times to
get in. I tried acpci on and off. Are there any suggestions on what is
hanging up, or how I can tell what is the hang up. If I get through,
everything hums along just fine.
