What we'd normally do in the UK is that the sender would send via courier,
or a Royal Mail service that requires a signature by the receiver *and*
allows the sender to verify this on the web. Less arguments that way...
And they give the tracking number to the buyer too.

Of course, many fleabay vendors do just bung out a low value package via
regular post because the fancy service costs as much as the item!
