usb modem support?

I happen to have an external v. 90 56K modem attached to a USB port on a
machine which has Linux installed on one of the hard disks. The modem itsels
has the MD3200 chipset, I believe (AMIGO "Surfing Series" model).

Does anyone know whether or not a driver for this thing is available to work
with Linux?
