Hi,
Just tried it, looks nice! But it would only boot with acpi=off.
I went through the install process. Then on initial boot the system hangs at GRUB. I inspected the partition from Windows and it is almost totally empty. Looks like whatever the install process thought it was writing to the harddrive wasnt really happening. Oh well I'll try some more fiddling, since I can't afford a new MB yet. ;)
.? Should I save my pennies for a different board and
trash this sucker?
Have you tried sabayon? On a dutch linux ng someone was happy with it.
It ran on a brand new core 2 duo system.
